COVID-19 POLICIES

Lush & Lavish Beauty takes the safety and well-being of others, and ourselves very seriously. We will be following the listed guidelines below for each and every appointment.  Please help us by adhering to these safety measures and understanding that like you, we also have family members that we love and are trying to protect in these unprecedented times.  

​Before Your Appointment:

Please self-check for Covid-19 symptoms the night before your appointment.  Your temperature should not exceed 37 degrees.  You should not be experiencing a cough, shortness of breath or loss of taste or smell.  Please let us know prior to coming to your appointment if you experience any of these symptoms.  We will be asking you these questions before we start your services. If you have been exposed to someone who has recently contracted COVID-19 we will require you to reschedule your appointment to a date at least 2 weeks in the future. If you are awaiting test results and feeling asymptomatic we still require you to reschedule your appointment until after you have been given negative test results. NO appointments may be scheduled if you have travelled outside of Canada in the last 14 days.

​For Your Appointment:

  • Please arrive wearing a mask. 

  • NO appointments will be permitted if you are showing any cold or flu like symptoms including seasonal allergies, fever, cough, shortness of breath; or have been in contact with COVID-19 . * If you have an appointment booked and start to experience any symptoms, please contact Sabrina directly to reschedule.

  • Please come to your appointment alone as we are not allowing extra guests in the studio at this time

  •  If you arrive early to your appointment you will need to wait in your vehicle until we are ready for you

  • Clients will be asked to use hand sanitizer upon arrival, which will be ready and available for you through your entire appointment.  

  • 20 seconds of hand washing at a clean and sanitized sink will be required for both of us before we begin your appointment.  

  • All client's are required to sign in, and complete a screening questionnaire/consent form upon arrival.

  • Your mask must stay on for any consultation, lash application, or hair styling appointment. Masks will not be required of the client during makeup application.

  • Payment will be by e-transfer only at this time as this is the safest way for us to accept payments right now.

​On-site Bridal Appointments or Multiple Clients:

Social Distancing

Your bridal beauty team will require 10 or fewer people to a room.  If you know you will have a large amount of people in your "getting ready" space please consider having two separate areas for us to work and your bridal party/guests to visit.  

Your bridal beauty team needs to adhere to the social distancing guidelines as much as possible. We will need 6 feet of social distancing between us to work safely with you and your attendants.

Cleaning Between Clients

In order to keep our workspaces clean and sanitized we will need 10 minutes in-between clients to sanitize and reset for the next client. 

Payment

Payment can be made via e-transfer to sabrina@lushandlavishbeauty.com immediately after services have been completed. If you have multiple attendants paying individually for your event, please ensure that every member of your party is prepared to pay for their services to avoid any last minute confusion, otherwise their service(s) will be added to the total owing of the individual who initially booked. 

 

Additional Information:

Please understand that the cost and time invested in additional training, sourcing, and purchasing of PPE is extensive and costly. Rates will be increased for new clients inquiring for the rest of 2021 and 2022 wedding seasons. This fee increase will cover the costs of PPE, additional health & safety training and if necessary, adding additional artists. This will ensure the highest hygienic and artistic standards, and continue to provide you with a top tier experience. We will never add any fees to your invoice without discussing them with you first and trying to find solutions to avoid such fees and charges.
